About Us​

When you hear Persian food, the first thing you think about is kabobs and rice.  Did you know that Persian families only eat kabobs when they go out to a restaurant?  There are so many other Persian dishes that are delicious and deserve recognition.  

 

Bayan started Tahdig, The Persian Taco Company in San Diego because she wanted to feature the diversity of Persian food by featuring Tahdig, the pan fried layer of crispy rice that everyone fights over at the dinner table and allow it to be featured in its own dish featuring other Persian dishes and wrapping it all up in a Persian style taco.  (Because almost anything is better in taco form, right?!)
